Chicken A’la King

Chicken A’La King          
             
2    chicken breasts, diced      
1    onion, diced        
2    stalks of celery, diced      
1    tsp chopped garlic        
1    pkg frozen peas        
 1/2 red pepper, diced        
 1/4 cup flour          
1    cup chicken stock        
 1/2 cup milk or cream        
2    TB oil          
             
In a large frypan, saute onion, celery, red pepper, and garlic.  
Add flour and cook for one or two minutes. Add chicken stock
and stir until smooth. Add milk or cream. Add in the chicken and the
peas, cook until warmed through. You may have to add more stock
or cream depending on the consistency of the sauce.  
             
Serve over biscuits or rice or potatoes.
